Service Description
Eight sessions run 6pm-8.30pm (including clean up time), Thursday evenings. Jolie Simpson will be teaching this 8 week Beginner/Intermediate level throwing course. Covers all aspects of wheel throwing including pulling handles and decorative techniques. Completing an 8 week class is a great week to start to build muscle memory and move past any technique road blocks you might have picked up but not know how to overcome if you've only been potting for a short time. Jolie has many years pottery tutoring experience and is comfortable adapting content and guidance depending on what her students need. This capability and her relaxed style sees many students return for more tutoring as they continue to hone their skills. Note: This class is most suitable for those who have completed a beginners course or already have some experience throwing on the wheel. The course cost fires up to 7 pieces and if you want to complete more then this is available at $5 extra per piece. Course includes: 1 bag of clay per person Bisque and glaze firing, (up to 7 pieces) Some glazes are available. Note: Class size is limited to 8 People Cancellation and Refunds $25 non-refundable administration fee No refunds are provided after the commencement of the classes.
