Service Description
You will get the best out of this masterclass if you already know how to throw an even and symmetrical cylinder or cup. Alan Ballard is a very experienced potter and tutor and will teach you how to throw and center larger amounts of clay onto the wheel as well as learn additional techniques that will allow you to shape your clay into various forms and shapes such as a plate, or taller cylinder. The course will run over 6 consecutive weeks. Classes are small ( 8 students) with individual help and mentoring and a combination of demonstration and independent work. Course includes: 1 free bag of clay per person and bisque firing. Glazing is not included. Covid update: Vaccination passports are not required but masks must be worn.
