Lindsay Smith - Hand Built Lidded Vessel

Getting a lid to fit perfectly is not the easiest task, but Lindsay will walk you through a couple of designs. You will learn strategies that will help you avoid common lid problems and make lids that fit like a glove. The main form will be created using the coil technique. Clay is provided but if you wish to use a specific clay please bring it to the workshop. Depending on your skill level you may be able to make more than one lidded vessel. Note:   Bisque firing is included in the cost of the workshop but not glazing. There will be a half hour break for a shared lunch. Be in quick as there are only 10 places available.
